We will present five action-packed days of workshops, discussions, and high-octane head-to-head SLAMS at the Auburn and the Calgary Public Library, until a winning team is crowned on November 8th.
Spoken Word heavyweights: Moe Clark, shayne avec i grec, Clifton Joseph, D. Kimm, Sean McGarragle, Sarah Murphy, David Silverberg, Andrea Thompson, R.C. Weslowski, and Sheri-D Wilson will headline events, slam master and lead workshops throughout the week.
Calgary’s own Sarah Murphy, 2008 Golden Beret winner, will open the celebrations on November 5th with the launch of her long-anticipated Spoken Word CD, when bill danced the war.
